About The Author
Professor N. V. Paranjape is a prolific writer well known for his legal scholarship. He holds two doctorates one in Law and the other in Political Science. He ws dean, Faculty of Law, Bhopal University, for three terms and also Professor, Head and Dean, Faculty of Law, Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur during 1980’s. Dr. Paranjape has a number of publications to his credit including both his doctoral works. He has contributed extensively in multiple branches of legal disciplines including Company Law, Criminology and Penology, Indian Legal and Constitutional history, Public Interest Litigation & Legal Aid Services, Right to Information Law in India, Environmental Law & Management, etc. He Successfully carried out a U.G.C. Major Research Project on Tribal Law. He was visiting fellow of U.G.C. in Saurastra University, Rajkot during 1987, 1990 and 1991.
